What is new about the Yonex SHB 65Z3 Men White/Ocean?

The new POWER CUSHION 65 Z was designed with a "shoeless feeling" in mind. The new model combines an improved, comfortable fit with more traction for an overall elevated badminton shoe that glides down the court with ease.

To achieve an improved fit of this all-around model, a new seamless upper and lateral shell have been introduced alongside the classic synthetic leather construction. The new seamless upper is an expanded piece of synthetic leather that minimizes the overlap of the material. This eliminates tension when the shoe is flexed, allowing for a more comfortable fit. The hardened shell-like section at the ankle, also known as the expanded lateral shell, provides a secure fit around the ankle. In addition, the RADIAL BLADE SOLE, a sole reminiscent of a ninja star pattern, has been implemented to provide ultimate grip during sudden vertical, horizontal and diagonal movements.

INNOVATION
Seamless upper + lateral protection
The seamless upper is an expanded piece of synthetic leather that minimizes the overlap of materials. This eliminates tension when the shoe is flexed, allowing for a more comfortable fit. The hardened shell-like section at the ankle, also known as the expanded lateral shell, provides a secure fit around the ankle.

RADIAL SOLE
The gripping pattern of the sole has been redesigned, creating the RADIAL BLADE SOLE. A fine windmill shape that combines zones of large and small indentations spreads the weight of the shoe and improves grip by about 3%*. The result is a grip that supports fast dashes and sudden stops.
